Canoe One of the big guns of portals in the late 90s, canoe.com, has been met with an unfortunate decline since Quebecor bought them. I was asked to create the 'advanced search' interface for their shop.canoe.com venture. The advanced search would be based on a category of products (i.e., fashion, sports, flowers, etc.). Because the advanced search was pretty basic, I thought to add a thematic element for each category. These are the illustrations I did for a few of the sections. The advanced search functionality was scrapped when canoe realised that there weren't enough vendors interested in their service to justify the expense.
